Michael A. Pelton is presently a 2-term Board of Selectman member and a candidate for reelection. Mike is also served 3 terms as a member of the Board of Education. A Portland resident for 21 years.
Mike has a long history of both public service and activism in the Portland community, especially regarding sports and health.
Mike is presently the Portland Lion’s Club President and a founding member. He is a coach for the Unified Sports program and for the Portland Middle School track team. Mike is a local business owner of Inner Circle Family Martial Arts located in Portland in the Adams Plaza. He is the proud father of three children who have attended or are attending Portland High School—Josh, Tommy, and Lily. He supports smart economic and business growth and improved planning for long term infrastructure needs.
